Our client is A Transportation Company in Hong Kong

Responsibilities:

• To develop information technology strategies and application systems to meet business needs.
• To keep abreast with market development in IT and data base management; also identify area of improvement to enhance the Company’s business.
• Develop and improve the Company’s IT systems and LAN (both hardware and software) to meet needs of user departments and to comply with relevant statutory regulations and standards.
• Develop mobile application systems to improve the interface with external customers with a view to enhance their experience in using the Company’s service.
• Evaluate new IT projects, discuss with external and internal stakeholders and make recommendations to senior management.
• Oversee the performance of contractors – monitor and issue instructions to contractors and ensure that deliverables comply with requirements.
• Provide technical support on IT infrastructure and data centre operation. 

Requirements:

• Degree holder, preferably in Information Technology with 15+ years of relevant working experience with at least 10 years in senior IT management position.
• Proven experience in successful large-scale IT project delivery as well as high-level system and network infrastructure design leading to successful implementation
• Solid experience of managing large scale software development, infrastructure and systems integration projects
• Able to interact effectively with all levels of the user community with tact and drive to address the company’s IT solution needs
• Familiar with technologies related to internet development, software tools, mobile apps, database systems, office automation tools, hardware platforms, operating systems, data networking. etc
