Our client is Major Insurance Company in Hong Kong

Responsibilities:

  • Handling on-going training and development needs by conducting needs assessments and analysis, developing appropriate training programs/materials, training plans, workshops and sessions with appropriate training methods and deliverables so as to align with business strategy and growth;
  • Plan, develop, administer and conduct programs and specialized training sessions covering new employee orientation, specific on-the-job training, techniques, management skills and other areas of improvements as required as well as maintain accurate staff training records;
  • Source and coordinate internal and external training and development programs, liaise with consultant, professional association on special training needs or projects;
  • Work with respective Department / Division Head to design and deliver training programs to cope with business objectives and requirements;
  • Maintain and update training policies, procedures, manuals and relevant materials and notes;
  • Manage Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR) program, Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and any staff engagement or recognition programs, activities and projects;
  • Provide support on any special projects and human resource initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills;
  • Excellent planning, organization, delivery, facilitation skills and strong analytical skills;
  • Diligent, positive-thinking, proactive and self-motivated;
  • Creativity in designing effective curricula, attentive to details;
  • Knowledge in principle of insurance product training, latest trends and evaluation approaches;
  • Excellent in English and Cantonese; both spoken and written is a must;
  • Degree in Training & Development / Human Resources Management or related discipline;
  • Minimum 7 years’ relevant working experience in Training & Development;
  • Practical experience in insurance or financial services industry;
  • Hands-on experience in delivering training and developing materials;
  • Knowledge in e-Learning, web page and/or basic graphics design would be a plus;
  • Proficiency in Using Microsoft Word / Excel / PowerPoint.
