Our client is A Major International Insurance Firm in HK

Job Purpose:

  • Responsible for brand and product marketing to build the company as an insurer of choice among our targets
  • Develop marketing strategies to achieve business goals
  • Work with internal departments, strategic partners, external agencies and regional office to develop effective marketing programs that align with overall business objectives


  • Develop marketing strategy or programmes to build brand and market products in both traditional and digital space to customers
  • Articulate views on customer insights and marketing strategy both in tactics and execution
  • Lead a team to implement marketing plan to support business retention and consolidate company’s market share in our chosen segments
  • Plan and manage the marketing budget as aligned with management
  • Align marketing efforts to the brand’s strategy, implementing strategic and tactical plans to meet regional brand objectives
  • Develop and evaluate corporate positioning, strategies and programs for continuous brand building
  • Plan and execute effective PR programs, pursuing opportunities for positive exposure including media and CSR activities
  • Manage media network and cascade key messages to relevant publications
  • Oversee the content of all marketing communications including website content, advertising, events, collateral and press release in compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements
  • Support top management to manage crisis communications
  • Manage channel programs to enhance partner relationships and cross selling opportunities


  • Degree holder in Marketing/Public Relations with 10 years of relevant experience in the financial service industry with minimum 5 years in manager level
  • Experience in corporate communication covering media relations, crisis management and corporate branding
  • Experience in omni-channel marketing, digital marketing and event marketing
  • Knowledge of digital marketing, public relations and project management
  • Customer segmentation and market analysis
  • Knowledge of insurance industry and products
  • Good understanding of insurance sector needs and operational environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, in both English and Chinese
  • Excellent organization, strategic planning and networking skills
  • Media contacts and agency relations
  • Creative and open-minded, a change agent
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
