Our client is Leading International Insurance Firm


  • This position is responsible for all aspects of the compliance function with in Finance and Actuarial of the Hong Kong’s operations. The person will work closely with Financial Controller, Chief Actuary and Chief Financial Officer to implement regulatory requirements.
  • The person shall coordinate with Legal and Compliance for all compliance related matters related to Finance and Actuarial.
  • Key responsibilities include:
    • Manage timely submission of all regulatory reporting to regulator
    • Maintain and update existing regulatory checklists
    • For any regulatory updates: identify the changes; evaluate; perform gap and impact analysis; implement; monitor; report and confirm understanding of the change with relevant stakeholders
    • Improve internal control framework to manage regulatory and compliance risk
    • Manage policies and procedures within Finance and Actuarial, to ensure proper documentation is in place for accuracy, reliability and completeness of all financial information generated by the finance and actuarial team
    • Regular review of existing policies, procedures and checklists
    • Participate in the assessment and implementation of new accounting standards (e.g. IFRS)


  • Bachelor degree of Accounting
  • 8+ years finance experience
  • Experience and knowledge in Insurance Ordinance and statutory requirements
  • CPA / CA / equivalent
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills
  • Good communication skill
  • Positive attitude and assertive
